SHADOWS OF TRINITY
by Allen Goldenthal

The crimes committed in Shadows of the Trinity are historical facts. The perpetrators, events, and repercussions are all true. Unfortunately, in the current legend as it’s written, the villains have all been hailed as heroes and the true saviors have been practically erased from the pages of history. In the year of the Lord 1588, the city of Prague was held in the grip of terror, victim to the murderous rampage of an inhuman monster created from the seeds of hatred and sown through religious intolerance and mortal greed. If the Empire was to survive, it had to place its hopes of salvation in the hands of three men; a heretical priest, a failed prophet, and a king without a kingdom.

This is their story, exposing those intentionally proclaimed as its heroes to be nothing more than the notorious villains who were prepared to destroy their own world. While the true heroes were condemned to be victims of forgotten memories and lost souls. Three men deemed unworthy by the society that sought their protection, Giordano Bruno, Caesar de Nostradame, and Yakov Kahana, and how, when they were united one fateful day, they became “The Trinity.”

Shadows of the Trinity, for the most part, is a non-fiction historical novel, revealing a series of strange and world-shattering events that occurred during the years 1588 and 1589 in Prague, the Bohemian capital of the Austro-Hungary Empire.

Magic, Mensa and Mayhem: (from Publisher's Weekly:) Religion and humor suffuse this well-imagined and densely plotted comedic mystery, based on a short story of the same title. Cursed by St. George to serve the Faerie Catholic Church, dragon detective Vern now sleuths in the mundane world. His latest (unpaid) assignment is to babysit a group of faeries attending a Mensa meeting. Vern quickly has his claws full juggling crises, from invisible brownies to two elves whose rivalry threatens to become interdimensional war. Distinctly memorable and occasionally silly supporting characters, from Brunhilde the Valkyrie to Native American trickster Coyote, steer the action. While the conclusion sticks perilously close to genre formula and the narrative is jumpy throughout, most readers will forgive the clichés (and Vern’s groan-worthy puns) and chuckle all the way through. www.swimmingkangaroo.com/mensa.html Or http://tinyurl.com/mmmamazon and http://tinyurl.com/mmmkindle">http://tinyurl.com/mmmkindle.

When others in the highly-religious small town of Ocean Village have similar negative near death experiences and wake up with burnt skin, they believe they went to hell and that God has abandoned them.

Don't Invite Me To Your Pity Party by Vernelle Nelson - Misery loves company! People who are down in the dumps and miserable with the state of their lives are happiest when they are successful in bringing others down with them. Newspapers are full of examples to prove this point. People who see themselves as lacking some sort of material possession or wealth are the only satisfied when they can deprive someone else of that which they think will make them happy by stealing, even if it means committing murder in the process. People who don’t have peace in their lives go to war.

Don’t Invite Me to Your Pity Party helps readers rise above the barrage of negative energy and events surrounding them. The writer uses humor, common sense and spiritual guidance to get her message across in a very unique and personal way. Her easy going conversational style makes this book a pleasure to read.

Available at select local bookstores, and on the internet at www.amazozn.com, www.barnesandnoble.com, www. publishamerica.com.

Favorable Conditions by Vernelle Nelson - Favorable Conditions is an easy to read book designed to help us reclaim our joy and help us see that we need no one’s approval. All we need is look to the God spirit within to have the joy, peace, love, health and wealth we are meant to have. It’s not about the money. It’s about our state of mind. Thousands if not millions of books have already been written on the subject. Why so many? The answer is simple. Every day we are bombarded with messages contradictory to our divine nature. It is up to us to counter that barrage of negativity with constant reminders that we are spiritual beings having a human experience – not human beings having a disastrous mortal experience with nothing to look forward to but the next train wreck, bridge collapse, terrorist attack, tsunami, wild fire, hurricane, earthquake, tornado or avalanche.

Available at select local bookstores, and on the internet at www.amazozn.com, www.barnesandnoble.com, www. publishamerica.com.
